Job Summary: The Manufacturing Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various departments within the manufacturing process. This role is critical in supporting data-driven decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and drive key performance indicators (KPIs). Essential Functions: Data Collection and Management: Gather and compile data from various manufacturing departments (e.g., production, quality control, supply chain). Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data collected. Organize data in databases and spreadsheets for easy access and analysis. Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact manufacturing processes. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven insights. Assist in identifying areas of inefficiency and suggest data-based solutions. Participate in root cause analysis for production issues and recommend corrective actions. Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present data analysis reports to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Assist in the development of documentation for data collection processes and procedures. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, etc.). Basic understanding of statistical methods and process improvement techniques. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and KPIs is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
