Corporate Legal Compliance Officer

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Standards Counsel to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our in-house legal team, you will be responsible for managing legal policy, processes and matters related to participation in technical standards organizations, consortia, and special interest groups.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to support the business's objectives, working closely with internal legal and business partners.
• Contribute to the development of governance and IPR policies, and participate in external governance and policy committees.
• Educate business organizations on standards-related legal issues, and draft agreements and policies to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
Qualifications:
• Strong background in intellectual property law, including patent development, transactions, or litigation, or antitrust experience.
• Knowledge of standards bodies' operations and intellectual property policies, with direct experience in developing and/or revising policies or agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise diverse clients effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and advocacy skills, with experience in project management and negotiation.
