Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required.
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
Specific Job Description:
Performs depot level repairs, modifications, refurbishments of specific components of the Modernized Target Designation Sight/Pilotage Night Vision System (M-TADS/PNVS).
Performs solder to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 standards.
Performs electrical rework/repair of cable harnesses, electrical wires, and circuit card assemblies.
Operates automated or general-purpose test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers and waveform generators) and uses knowledge of basic AC/DC theory to read, interpret engineering drawings and schematics to conduct fault isolation of faulty components.
Completes work IAW engineering drawings, schematics, Repair Component Procedures (RCPs), Field Advisory Bulletins (FABs), and Contactor Installation Procedures (CIPs)
Documents work in automated maintenance data collection systems IAW Apache Fire Control processes and procedures
Performs test and checkout of mechanical, electrical, structural, hydraulic subsystems and complete systems.
Mandatory-High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training sufficient to perform preventive and demand maintenance tasks and minimum of 1 Year of experience. Ability to lift 35 pounds. Ability to properly safety wire assemblies and connectors Ability to solder and repair cables and harnesses Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs Desired Skills: Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Location: Gilbert, AZ
Desired-Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements
Ability to understand policies and procedures for the control of Government property
Ability to work with hazardous materials
Ability to mix and weigh chemicals
