Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Part Time Driver to join our team at International Auto Processing LLC. The successful candidate will operate vehicles in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials to designated locations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Transport goods to designated locations, following vehicle handling procedures and safety rules.
• Use hand-held scanning devices to manage tasks efficiently.
• Park vehicles in approved areas, maintaining proper spacing between vehicles.
• Return to the van without delay to ensure timely transportation to the next location.
• Maintain awareness of all safety precautions and speed limits while driving.
• Verify load line numbers and park vehicles in the correct lane when delivering to the load line.
• Place work orders and/or other inserts in vehicles as instructed.
• Adhere to policies and procedures regarding safety, including accident reporting and hazardous communication standards.
• Ensure a spotter is present when backing up vehicles to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team's efforts.
Requirements:
• A high school diploma or equivalent, or 1+ year of work experience with no more than 2 employers.
• A valid US driver's license.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
• Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles.
