Permanent Jewelry Sales Associate

Love Weld™ is the fastest growing permanent jewelry company in the US. Since we started in February of 2020, we have expanded to eight locations and more than doubled annual sales. We call our permanent jewelry styles Love Welds™. The Love Weld™ collection offers custom bracelets, necklaces, anklets, and rings in solid 14k yellow or white gold. The heart of our brand is to offer quality custom permanent jewelry pieces in a setting that creates a lasting wearable memory.

Overview of Role: As a member of our team, your role as a love welder is to cultivate a unique and welcoming experience with clients both in the studio and at our events. You will provide exceptional customer service by providing necessary information on products and processes. You will also be expected to communicate clearly and efficiently, and be a team player. You must be good with your hands. Retail experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

$17/hour 7.5% commission

Commission is calculated based on total sales which, based on an average order size, would be an additional $15-$17/order.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of 20 hours per week; must be available minimum of 3 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts a month during normal retail hours. Shift lengths may vary depending on studio need.


• Complete necessary training


• You have 1 years of retail or hospitality experience


• Passion for jewelry, community and excellent customer service


• You are responsible, a problem solver, detail-oriented and process driven


• You have an eye for style and are up-to-date on jewelry and permanent jewelry trends (or want to learn!)

Reports to: Studio Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sales


• Ensure the delivery of memorable and remarkable customer experiences


• Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of of our product


• Educate customer on product options and pricing


• Weld 14k gold custom bracelets, anklets, and necklaces on clients


• Use POS system correctly


• Communicate any needs/concerns to proper channels


• Execute in-studio and travel events that are assigned


• Other duties as assigned


• Studio Operations


• Keep studio clean and organized


• Maintain excellent communication through answering phone/email/texts for studio lines in a timely manner while working


• Ensure that all product is put away safely at the end of a shift


• Perform duties related to opening and/or closing the store


• Other duties as assigned


• Welding:


• This position will initially be responsible for 4-5 welding shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts a month minimum.
