Quality Test Engineer II (REMOTE)
Here at Proagrica, we develop agriculture software that Growers, Farmers and Service Providers use to collect and manage data to make better decisions. We are looking for a Quality Test Engineer II to join our team developing web apps, web services and background processes for large scale customers that require a high level of customization. This is an opportunity for remote (in the US) work, with the team located across the US.
Experience
2+ Years of QA Test Engineering Experience
BS Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
RequirementsEssential
Experience working with applications dependent on Web APIs.
Experience with working with data systems - be it databases, data integration workflows or data products, accompanied by a high degree of data literacy.
Hands-on experience with any Agile methodology, ideally Scrum.
Team oriented, result driven, self motivated and pro-active.
A diligent attention to detail and technical intuition.
Proficient with documentation of process and results.
Desirable
A background in Agriculture or Ag Tech is highly desirable.
Understanding of Geospatial Technologies.
Training or experience in the role of Scrum Master.
Experience interacting directly with high-value clients.
Experience with scripting language and testing automation frameworks.
What the job entails
Working within a squad dedicated to Proagrica's clients requiring a high level of product customization.
Formulating, documenting and executing functional, integration and system tests for premium features and workflows on top of Sirrus, Proagrica's flagship product.
Reporting issues and results - both on a functional and data front - researching and identifying root causes as appropriate.
Join a wide QA community, participating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
Be a strong proponent of Agile principles and driver of adoption within the Scrum squad.
