Responsible to support the written safety programs, procedures, and requirements of the organization
Safety administrators need to stay up to date of all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations as well as their own company policies.Othere duties include:+ Creating safety manuals,+ Coordinating training,+ Developing safety meeting topics,+ Maintaining third-party procurement websites+ Scheduling Audits+ OSHA 300 logs+ Assist with workers compensation claims+ Ensuring safety procedures are up to regulatory standards+ Providing a safety resource to your fellow workers.The essential functions of this role include:+ wearing steel toe shoes+ standing for 4 hours at one time+ working up to 8 hrs of overtime per weekSkills+ Safety (2 years of experience is required)+ Scheduling (1 year of experience is required)+ Purchasing/Procurement+ safety inspections (1 year of experience is required)+ OSHA (1 year of experience is required)+ Administrative Duties+ Answering Phones+ MS Office+ Time Management+ InvestigationsEducation+ High SchoolQualifications+ Years of experience: 2 years+ Experience level:ExperiencedShift: FirstWorking hours: 8 AM - 4 PMRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies
