The Hometown Veterinarian is seeking a full-time or part-time Small Animal Veterinarian to join our independently owned, community-rooted practice in Marshalltown, Iowa. We offer a modern, well-equipped facility that includes digital radiography, dedicated dental suite with dental X-rays, full in-house lab, ultrasound, surgical laser, orthopedic surgery, gas anesthetia with electronic monitoring, acupuncture, and more. You’ll have the tools and support needed to confidently manage a diverse caseload and develop your areas of interest—whether that’s dentistry, internal medicine, soft tissue or orthopedic surgery, preventive care, or alternative therapies.

You’ll be joining a close-knit, collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together. We emphasize mentorship, professional development, and open communication. Our team includes skilled support staff who make your job easier and allow you to focus on patient care.
