Amazon Influencer Program (amazon.com/influencers) provides social media influencers on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram a storefront on Amazon with an exclusive vanity URL where they recommend products. Influencers are defined as social media users who leverage their credibility to influence their followers' behavior. Influencers can be enthusiasts, bloggers, experts, publishers or celebrities, and can be experts in anything from fashion to ocean fly fishing. Our team owns all the live features contributing to this program, including influencer storefronts, backend services and marketing promo codes. Storefronts give social media influencers a dedicated page on Amazon with an exclusive vanity URL where they recommend products. Influencers then promote their URL to refer traffic from social media.
As a part of our team you will have the chance to be creative, proposing both new features and the technical solution to build them. Our team owns the complete full stack which gives you the opportunity to tackle front-end rendering challenges, the underlying data models and back-end processing capability. As a front end engineer in our team you will have the opportunity to own and build chat experience for everyday customers. We have requirements to provide chat front-end for mshop, web and other client applications. You will have flexibility to drive changes to our front-end architecture, framework and be able to work with UX design in bringing in new features. Since we own the full product if you would also love to expand your skills in non-front end areas there will be ample opportunities available to you grow.
Successful candidates need to be creative, innovative, flexible, self-directed, able to design and write reliable, maintainable and high-performance code. You must be able to deal with ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, multi-task and deal with complexity. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional front-end development.
- Skilled with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
- Deep experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React/Vue and cross-platform frameworks such as ReactNative.
- Experience with responsive and mobile design, as well as cross-browser development and testing.
- Experience building rich data-driven web applications by consuming RESTful services and APIs.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- • 5+ years of professional front end development.
- • Ability to rapidly prototype and adjust in response to customer feedback.
- • Experience building front-end features that have been successfully delivered to customers for mobile applications.
- • Understands how to optimize the delivery of code and assets (e.g., images, fonts) to a browser or device (e.g., lazy loading assets, using CDNs, caching, compression, etc.).
- • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
