Hall’s Culligan Water and PrairieFire Coffee Roasters is searching for an experienced, detail oriented Help Desk Technician II to join our technology team. The Help Desk Technician II will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to employees with hardware /software and connectivity issues. This position will also be responsible for monitoring all tickets in the ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution and closure. The Help Desk Technician II will also work closely with team members for special projects and resolving complex issues.
The Help Desk is staffed between the hours of 7am and 7pm CST. This position will work a full time schedule that may vary between these hours based on the needs of the company.

Responsibilities
Monitor and respond quickly and efficiently to requests received through the IT help desk
Respond to customer queries by phone and email
Create step-by-step training material with screen shots for customers
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software and hardware
Document internal procedures
Maintain daily performance of computer systems
Ask educated questions and listen to customers to determine root cause of issues
Work through the problem-solving process with users
Run diagnostic problems to resolve problems
Report significant and recurring issues to the Systems Administrator
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
Gain feedback from customers about computer usage
Configure and setup new computers for users
Additional Responsibilities
Assist the Systems Administrator with special projects involving various IT tasks
Assist with Programming and Scripting custom applications required to resolve technical issues
Perform various weekly tasks such as antivirus server functionality and update status
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with Programming and Scripting languages
Minimum 2 years with Windows Server and Citrix Application Delivery
Working and troubleshooting knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Windows and Office software
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team environment and interface with various departments and employees effectively
Able to travel on occasion
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with occasional even or weekend hours as needed
