Warehouse Material Handler Job Description

Frito-Lay Picker/loaders are responsible for various warehouse duties in our state-of-the-art automated warehouse, known as Geographic Enterprise Systems (GES). A key component of PepsiCo's success, Frito-Lay has been making and distributing snacks for over 80 years. This role can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo.

Job Responsibilities:

• Picking product on an automatic belt picking system using technology such as Pick-To-Light and Vulcan.
• Auditing cases for accuracy and correcting issues.
• Loading trailers via carts or stacking cases on truck trailers.
• Meeting performance time standards.
• Monitoring label/print machines and clearing jams.
• Operating auto case erector (ACE) and emptying carton recycle.
• Carton unloading, sorting, orienting, bailing & trailer loading prep.
• Proper cart handling and storage.
• Autonomous maintenance activities.
• Completing certifications and participating in team meetings and training.
• Distributing product and assisting with weekly inventory.
• Maintaining general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.

Requirements:

• Age: 18 years or older.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours.
• Lifting capacity: 15 to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and stretching.
• Repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling products.
• Working at heights using ladders.
• Working in extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous equipment, and slippery surfaces.
