Position Summary:

Serves as the employee responsible for Accounts Receivable/Payable for the Weinstein Wholesale Meats entity with back-up support for all others.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Maintain AR functions for various transactions, initiates the setting up of new customers and maintains existing customer records.

· Process cash receipts, AR and run credit cards.

· Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.

· Prepares reports for CFO and upper management as needed

· Coordinates and maintains the office, warehouse and production supplies as needed.

· Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed such as filing.

· Collection activities on payment delinquencies.

· Distributes daily mail and answer daily phone calls.

· Processes customer EDIs in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

Requirements:
• Food or Logistics company experience preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in AR/Billing
• A self-starter with strong personal drive and excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; mastery of Excel
• Prior experience working in a private, family-held environment preferred
• Experience with EDI a plus
