We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal and Combustion Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cast house engineering group, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the cast house combustion system.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have expertise in combustion safety, thermal best practices, and furnace efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
• Combustion Safety: Develop and implement effective combustion safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Thermal Best Practices: Drive the implementation and development of thermal best practices to optimize furnace performance and reduce energy consumption.
• Furnace Efficiency: Ensure furnaces are running efficiently to maximize melt rate and minimize costs.
• New Technologies: Evaluate new technologies to help improve greenhouse gas emissions and meet decarbonization strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 7 years of manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in thermal and combustion safety.
