Analytics Consultant

Job Description:

The primary focus of the Analytics Consultant position in Business Support Services is to ensure operational efficiencies and excellent customer service levels are met via the application of analytical tools and techniques. Some of the tasks that this position entails include designing innovative routing options, implementing and monitoring these plans to ensure they are meeting the objectives as expected, and maintaining accurate database records and customer programs in all software systems used throughout the company. The Business Analyst also serves as the key contact person for authorized database changes and is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and monitoring of customer commission and beverage agreements.
• A hourly pay of $22.00 will be provided to those working in the Business Analyst capacity.

• Verify that the routing solutions in use comply with the DOT's stipulated weight restrictions and hours of service regulations.
• Analyzing the influence that commission fluctuations have on changes to transportation routes.
• Implement an efficient cost-effective routing and software utilization measurement system using management reports.
• Monitor the execution of routing solutions upon completion of the session utilizing diverse reporting capabilities.

• Confirming the precision of the case volume recorded in the sales system is crucial, as it has an impact on various financial aspects such as incentives, commissions, and funding.
• It is important to report commissions correctly to Payroll to avoid any discrepancies in the employee's pay.
• As per your assigned duties, forward reports to outside parties and submit requests for funding.
• Follow all safety guidelines and utilize all necessary safety paraphernalia.
• Abide by and enforce all regulations, policies, processes, and job procedures

Requirements:

Education and Experience:
• If you're interested in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Supply-Chain Management, consider pursuing a Bachelor's degree to acquire expertise in these fields.
• Experience of 1-3 years in the direct store delivery industry or a comparable combination of education and experience gives an added advantage.
• Proficient in navigating and executing complex tasks on Excel, Word, and Outlook, which are essential components of Microsoft Office.
• Having prior experience in using Routing Software is preferred.

Physical Demands:
• Working in an office environment can demand prolonged sitting, requiring employees to remain stationary and sedentary.

Work Environment:
• The level of noise in the work environment may be moderate as a result of manufacturing.
• The work hours range from 7 am to 5 pm, depending on various factors, including schedules and seasonal demands. They may need to work extra shifts occasionally, and they may have to travel, not exceeding 10% of their time. Besides, the employee will be expected to be on-call for one week every six weeks.
