Full-time Description Position Summary The role of the Senior Property Accountant is to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties. Required Qualifications:
Full-time Description Position Summary The role of the Senior Property Accountant is to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of three years related experience
- Previous experience in the property management/multifamily industry preferred.
- Must have experience in multifamily/property management full cycle accounting.
- RealPage/Yardi experience is a plus.
- Full cycle accounting for 8-10 properties (balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset reclasses, recurring monthly entries, etc.)
- Reconciling, Managing and Forecasting property cash.
- Ensure timely payment of debt service and real estate taxes.
- Financial analysis to prepare/complete for monthly, quarterly, and annual operating statements.
- Work with onsite team to resolve reconciling items each month.
- Ad hoc projects
- Positive, motivating, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new things required
- High degree of professionalism and demeanor, with an ability to keep matters confidential
- A strong emphasis on customer service in every action on the job and help instill this value in team members
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent communication and listening skills
- Able to effectively prioritize, plan, and organize work activities
