About the position

As a Customer Experience Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a pivotal role in promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service, while also actively promoting loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position requires you to model outstanding customer service and create a positive experience for both internal and external customers. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of honesty and integrity, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times. You will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, coaching them on how to personalize the customer experience while effectively promoting loyalty programs. Additionally, you will assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates to ensure smooth operations. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you strive to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed. Effective communication with management and Associates will be essential as you set and address priorities, providing progress updates as necessary. You will be expected to provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with management to identify Associate training needs to increase overall effectiveness. Adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures is crucial, as is the promotion of credit and loyalty programs. You will also support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, while promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment for both customers and Associates. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements
