REMOTE DevOps Engineer (contract-to-hire) *Title:* REMOTE DevOps Engineer
*Location:* REMOTE within USA (POST-COVID)
*Requirements:* Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Azure web apps, Microservices architecture, Github, CI/CD, Configuration Management,
*Job Duration:* 6-month contract-to-hire, $40-50/hr contract rate
*Salary upon Conversion:* $90k - $110k salary
We are a fast-growing, established SaaS healthcare technology company with a health application platform used for workplace wellness and population health management programs. We offer software to wellness providers, large employers, hospital systems, health plans, etc. We are looking to add our first DevOps focused engineer to our IT team, in a contract-to-hire capacity.
What You Will Be Doing - Building, migrating and testing Azure environments and integrations.
- Developing templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions.
- Monitoring and maintaining multiple Cloud DevOps environments.
- Implementing best practices for building cloud development, testing, QA, UAT and production environments.
- Building new automation to expand and maintain Cloud hosting.
- Assisting IT and Development teams with Cloud management tasks.
- Supporting and leading project Devops and automation deployment tasks.
- Leading and mentoring development teams on DevOps best practices.
- Identifying new tools and processes to improve the Cloud platforms.
- Developing positive relationships with teams involved in the downstream technical processes.
What You Need for this Position *Must-Have Skills:*
- 3+ years in DevOps experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Cloud, Web Apps, Functions, SQL deployments
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Experience with building CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitFlow
- Working knowledge of YAML
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
*Bonus Skills:*
- Experience with various Configuration Management Tools
- Experience with Platform-as-a-Service
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Scripting with PowerShell
