Job Overview
Distribution Planning and Analysis Engineer:
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team in Walled Lake, MI or the Detroit area. The successful candidate will execute distribution planning studies for Municipal Utilities, Investor Owned Utilities, and electric system cooperatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute distribution planning studies
Conduct distributed energy resource (DER) interconnection impact assessments
Analyze arc flash and coordination studies
Develop distribution and transmission protection strategies
Support self-healing systems and onsite projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in technical distribution studies
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with distribution policy and regulatory issues
