Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team at BlueLinx Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in compliance with training and safety guidelines.
• Load, unload, and store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
• Store and retrieve materials using piece pick and/or bulk methods.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for distribution and shipping of products.
• Maintain daily inspection and equipment maintenance records.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts as requested.
Requirements
• One year of recent forklift/warehouse experience.
• Ability to proficiently and safely use forklifts to transport products and load/unload trucks.
• Ability to read and comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety materials, and other documentation.
