Internship Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a student interested in interior design, retail merchandising, or showroom operations to gain hands-on experience in a design-focused, customer-facing environment. As a Showroom Intern, you will support the Farmington Hills, MI showroom teams and work on projects that improve the customer experience, merchandising, and inventory organization.
Key Projects May Include
• Supporting product mapping and inventory organization initiatives within the showroom.
• Assisting with display updates, product tagging, and sample area management.
• Helping maintain a welcoming and engaging showroom environment for visiting clients and designers.
• Helping organize and code inventory items for improved tracking and showroom flow.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Retail Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) for the full internship term (June 9-Mid-August).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion for design or customer service.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
