About the position
The Senior Analyst position at Tesla involves performing in-depth analyses on large and complex data sets to provide strategic insights and conclusions to leadership. Responsibilities
• Perform rigorous analyses on large, complex data sets.

• Provide strategic insights, hypotheses, and conclusions based on findings to leaders at all levels.
,
• Work with business and engineering teams to drive the development of Tesla's data, reporting, and analytics platforms.
,
• Build, maintain, and improve data models, forecast models, dashboards, and data pipelines.
,
• Create clean, reliable, and scalable 'single-source-of-truth' data sets by partnering with data quality and application engineering teams.
,
• Document data lineage, business logic, and KIN definitions.
,
• Partner with business analysts to help automate manual workflows and train them in tools and skills.
Requirements
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Statistics, Management and Information Systems, or related field (foreign education equivalent accepted) and five years of experience as an Operation Analyst or related field.

• Alternatively, a Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Management and Information Systems, or related field (foreign education equivalent accepted) and three years of experience as an Operation Analyst or related field.

• Experience in data engineering and data science.
,
• Knowledge of data lineage and business logic.
,
• Experience in people analytics and HR.
,
• Proficiency in Airflow, SQL, Python, and Excel (including Power Query/Power Pivot).

• Experience in data modeling, including working with stored procedures, database management, and DAX.

• Experience in developing dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
