The Position

We are seeking a skilled Bistro Attendant to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Miami Homestead. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food and beverage safety and quality, adhering to hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensure seamless communication with General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
• Take food and beverage orders, retrieve, and serve orders to guests according to hotel specifications.
• Collect payments and maintain the restaurant area and equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• Minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
