Job Description
As an Analyst in the Industrials Group, you will work on corporate finance engagements. The group's engagements principally include M&A, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory assignments. As a dedicated member of our transaction team you will be responsible for supporting these assignments, with the following responsibilities:
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have prior experience or a demonstrated interest in the industrials sector, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The environment at Houlihan Lokey is both collegial and entrepreneurial. Teamwork is essential to the firm s success. At the same time, creativity and new ideas are encouraged. Analysts are given substantial responsibilities and are encouraged to help us grow our business. The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, outgoing, and possess strong financial analysis skills. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, keen analytical capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Covid vaccination required, subject to applicable state and federal law.
One to two years of corporate finance, investment banking, or accounting experience is required, and an exceptional work ethic is a must.

As an Analyst in the Industrials Group, you will work on corporate finance engagements. The group's engagements principally include M&A, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory assignments. - prepare, analyze and explain financial information of a given company and related companies within the respective industry;
- perform valuations of companies using traditional valuation methodologies;
- prepare confidential offering memorandums, management presentations, buyers lists, marketing pitches, and other presentations; and (iv) assist in the marketing and planning of engagements, on a limited basis.
