NTX Fleet Services is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wash Bay Technician to join our team at our medium duty and heavy-duty truck shop.
The Wash Bay Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and vehicles leaving our facility are clean and presentable to our customers. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Wash and clean all types of medium duty and heavy duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and specialized vehicles.
• Use pressure washers, cleaning solutions, and other equipment to remove dirt, grime, and debris from vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and address any areas that require additional attention.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including cabins and cargo areas.
• Maintain and organize wash bay equipment and supplies, including cleaning and performing routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job status, issues, and improvements.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a trucking or automotive environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products used in vehicle detailing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay: Starting at $12 per hour
