Helio Solar is hiring Solar Energy Consultants in Somerville, NJ, for a sales role focused on promoting renewable energy and reducing energy bills. Candidates should have sales experience and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include educating customers, assessing needs, and managing relationships. The position offers flexible hours, a competitive commission structure, and a supportive company culture. Reliable transportation is required, as the job involves working on the road.
We are seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our sales team. This unique role combines the opportunity to work in the renewable energy sector with a focus on reducing climate change. Our Sales Reps will engage with customers to educate them about their energy consumption , and facilitate transition to sustainable energy sources alongside a lower energy bill.
Ideal candidates will possess a blend of home services and customer service skills, enabling them to effectively communicate the benefits of going solar. We hold dynamic meetings on Mondays and Thursdays that are all about energy, learning and your community. We provide tools for success from well-defined sales guides to targeted leads to the right closers. Our process is professional and effective. We have the most aggressive commission structure in the industry.

Responsibilities
• Educate customers on solar energy solutions.
• Assess client needs and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with prospects about their energy bills.
• Assist in managing client relationships.
• Ensure satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow up as necessary.
• Stay informed about industry trends in renewable energy.
• Reliable transportation required.
Requirements
• Experience or knowledge in Sales is preferred.
• Strong understanding of home services will aid in effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for renewable energy and sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.
