Michigan Renewable Energy Liaison

Job Summary: The Michigan Community Advocate will serve as the primary point of contact for community relations in Michigan, responsible for leading outreach efforts, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving project-level giving.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a community outreach plan that aligns with NG Renewables' overall business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, including local leaders, community organizations, and government officials.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote NG Renewables' brand and values within the community.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to support community outreach efforts.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on community engagement activities and progress towards goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of community outreach initiatives.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and results-oriented performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity software.

Desirable Skills:
• Experience working in the renewable energy industry or a related field.
• Knowledge of Michigan's energy landscape and regulatory environment.
• Fluency in Spanish or another language spoken in Michigan.
