Positions in this function will facilitate forecasts and analyze trends. Responsibilities include reporting and analysis to business and finance leadership; research key drivers to assist with the organization's strategic financial planning; present findings and recommendations to management. This role is in Optum Health supporting the Optum at Home Finance team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Critical Finance partner to the Optum at Home leadership team to help drive financial performance for the business and quality care to our members
  
• Ability to understand key business performance metrics and value levers and translate into recommendations that will improve the business P&L, and help influence cross functional partners on recommendations
  
• Help to establish improved rigor into the finance function, building consistent templates and processes that enable more informed and actionable insights leveraging data and analytics
  
• Help to drive improved accountability across the organization on business performance expectations and tracking results
  
• Demonstrated effectiveness working across a highly matrixed organization influencing business leaders and driving decision-making and action utilizing financial skills and business acumen
  
• Develops solid relationships across the business by proactively meeting with key leaders within Product, Clinical, Operations, and Affordability
  
• Drives business process improvements related to finance processes and financial systems

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
• 5+ years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience
  
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools
  
• Progressive financial work experience
  
• Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or CPA
  
• Project management or process improvement experience
  
• Healthcare experience
  
• Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
