Medical Records Clerk is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the participant file known as the Medical Record. This position support the Mental Health Department to send medical records to our providers.
Requests and follows up on medical records requests from providers and clients.
Maintains and updates lists of active participants in Holding Hands Tracking list.
Maintains and protects sensitive and private information by keeping patient records confidential in accordance with HIPAA, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Maintains accurate documentation on the medical records, insurance information, intake documentation, legal documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Melbourne, FL 32935: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Medical records: 1 year (Preferred)
