Responsibilities

• The Senior Power Grid Engineer is responsible for designing electric transmission, sub-transmission, and distribution lines.
• Ongoing interface with clients at their offices, and occasionally in the field at walk-downs and site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university - Civil or Electrical Engineering Degree strongly preferred.
• Civil or Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) License (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
• 3+ years transmission and/or distribution line design experience.
• Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, MFAD, and MS Excel.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage tasks for multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
• High level of personal initiative and the ability to interact with personnel, clients, and contractors.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills and must be proficient on the computer.
• Possess intellectual inquisitiveness and demonstrate strong judgement in the face of ambiguity.
• Strong imagination and ability to bridge creative and technical conversations.
