Job Summary
The Hotel Head of Housekeeping will be responsible for leading the housekeeping team in providing exceptional service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with all daily operational procedures by the Housekeeping Department
• Maintaining complete knowledge of and complying with all hotel/departmental policies and procedures
• Handling guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
• Training and developing team members and ensuring all required training is complete according to standards
• Assisting staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests
• Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas
• Performing housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson functions whenever necessary

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling requirements, and use of equipment.
