🤖 Who We Are
Balyo is a world-wide leader in Autonomous Guide Vehicles (AGV’s) for industrial material handling. We’ve grown from our start-up days, but retain our start-up culture and mentality to move fast and deliver innovative technological and operational solutions to our customers. With headquarters in Paris and satellite offices in Singapore, China and Woburn, MA, USA, we are able to deliver and install robots in almost every market around the world.
We're talking SLAM navigation, 3D cameras, LiDAR, world records (yep, literally: 1-ton loads at 17 meters high). And we’re hungry for more.
👥The US Team
Our American team is made up of nearly 40 Balyo employees, including sales managers, engineers, project managers, and operations specialists.
While we work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, we're backed by a solid and experienced local team that supports each other and works closely to deliver high-impact robotic solutions across the country.
💼 What You’ll Do
You'll be on the ground bringing our robots to life at customer sites. That includes:
• Programming our AGVs based on customer specs
• Running simulations to make sure everything works as expected
• Installing, testing, and validating robots on site
• Troubleshooting on the fly (because robots are fun… and sometimes finicky)
• Leading technical convos with customers & supporting project managers
• Delivering training and documentation for users
• Collaborating with our R&D folks to make the product even better
đź‘©đź’» Who You Are
You’re curious, autonomous, tech-savvy, and love solving real-world problems. You’ve probably got:
• A Bachelor’s in Engineering or similar (Associate degree okay if you bring solid coding chops)
• 1–3 years of experience in automation, robotics, or software dev – ideally with some customer-facing time
• Programming skills: C, C++, Matlab – or Java/Python if that’s your jam
• A good head for mechanical and electrical systems
• A “let’s fix it” mindset
• You’re cool with travel and field work
• You speak English fluently. Bonus points if you also speak French, Spanish, Portuguese, or others
• Also nice to have: SLAM, ROS, SQL, WebMethods
đź’° The Offer
• $70K - 80K depending on experience
• You'll be on the ground bringing our robots to life at customer sites – and that means frequent travel is part of the job. You’ll need a valid driver’s license and a willingness to hit the road regularly.
✍️ Practical Stuff
• You’ll need valid work authorization in the US
• Balyo is proud to be an equal opportunity employer
