The Senior Project Lead is a professional who stays abreast of developments within governance field, provides project tracking/domain governance, and contributes towards CISO strategy.
This position requires demonstrated skills in governance and project management. The candidate is responsible for strengthening the existing governance programs: data protection, key management, and cryptography. The main clients will be technology, applications development, audit, risk management, and business personnel. Candidates must display communication and diplomacy skills which will be used to guide and influence peers in areas related to governance and oversight. A candidates success will be measured by having significant impact on meeting deliverables which demonstrate a identification and reduction in existing risk across these programs.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with DP Program Director and cross-functional teams to mature existing governance programs
Identify and report any non-compliant areas against existing standards and escalate to appropriate areas for remediation
Work with team to update global policies, standards and guidance documents.
Perform detailed tracking, updating process control manuals, and execution of governance/oversight related to established policies.
Partner with technology and business to develop comprehensive project plans and obtain business and technology resource commitment.
Communicate project plans and routine updates on project status and issues/risks to the project team, stakeholders and management.
Collaborate with working groups to define and document business requirements. Present requirements to the development teams and track implementation of new tools/inventories.
Handle routine status and metrics reporting and participate in preparation of senior management presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience (potentially Master's degree)
6+ years of experience with project management and business analysis with experience using a structured methodology.
4+ years of working in cryptography and related systems
Fundamental knowledge regarding the principles related to PKI, including certificates, private keys, encryption methods, cryptographic protocols and key usages.
Candidate must be familiar with information security concepts and products.
Experience analyzing and documenting business requirements and interfacing with engineering and/or application developers.
Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change without frustration
Capacity to adapt to shifting goals and activities. Capacity to manage multiple activities in parallel.
Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies with minimal management oversight.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented
Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a virtual team across various geographies
