Description
As an IT Field Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch technical assistance, from resolving hardware and software issues to setting up networks and installing equipment. Your role will involve traveling to different sites, interfacing directly with clients, and utilizing your expertise to overcome a diverse array of IT challenges.
• Strategically plan daily routes to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Provide direct on-site problem resolution for both hardware and software.
• Identify and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems.
• Respond to tickets in accordance with SLA guidelines.
• Configure and install new IT equipment.
• Set up hardware and software components.
• Perform regular maintenance on technology equipment.
• Test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Document installations and repairs accurately.
• Maintain all tools and equipment used during service calls.
• Educate customers on proper equipment usage.
• Ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
• Manage stock of replacement parts and equipment.
• Maintain incident records and their resolutions.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor.

The position may require working in confined spaces or at heights and may involve exposure to hazardous materials or environments. All OSHA safety protocols must be adhered to.”

• Requires ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist.
• Must be able to climb a ladder
• Maximum unassisted lift = 70 lbs. Average lift less than 20 lbs.
• Maximum move = 100 lbs. Push, pull or drag.
• Exposed to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols
• Exposure to varied travel conditions either driving or flying
• The travel required for this position is 100%.
