Job Description
The Senior Product Manager ensures that Daxko Products deliver maximum value to customers and meet market requirements. This position will fulfill the Product Owner role on the Agile Product Team.
The Senior Product Manager reports to the Director of Product.
Your Responsibilities :
- Operate as trusted subject matter expert in the market and understand, in depth, the target market and user base and use this knowledge to guide product decisions.
- Work within the Product Management team, and directly with customers, to understand market needs
- Maintain deep knowledge of user behavior.
- Maintain dashboards, draw insights from analytics, and actively add / tweak metrics to answer new questions.
- Own all feedback channels (feature requests, churn, NPs, etc.) and proactively gather feedback directly through targeted interviews, surveys, workshops, etc.
Draw insights from this data to inform strategy and prioritization.
- Maintain deep knowledge of direct competitor products and the market's perception of them. Use knowledge of competitors to inform strategy and prioritization.
- Expertly drive validation of new features and roadmap initiatives through discovery techniques.
- Maintain businesses cases for roadmap initiatives to show how they align with company goals and objectives. Regularly generate cases for new opportunities.
- Prioritize the backlog based on business value and serve as the point person for engineers and UX designers.
- Create and track product KPIs for new features and roadmap initiatives that map to company goals and ensure focus on solving the right problems.
- Assist in defining product pricing models, determining optimal pricing for each product and target segment.
- Understand the definition of your addressable market, and the market share of your product and competitors.
- Ensure tech and business teams have a clear understanding of the product vision. Inspire teams to do their best work by painting a compelling picture of where we are headed.

- 25% Travel Required
Qualifications
- Experience with business intelligence tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Able to comfortably and effectively present to large groups of stakeholders
- Identify complex problems and information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Proficient in conflict resolution and able to navigate situations where customers or employees are unhappy with the company
- Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain exceptional cross-team communication
- Bachelor s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years of relevant product management, product owner, or business analysis experience
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience with Agile development methodologies and Product Owner role
- Proven track record of success leading agile teams
- Proven track record of success translating requirements into user stories effectively, creating "shared understanding" between product, engineering, design, and test team members
- Proven track record of effective roadmap prioritization
- Experience using frameworks to create and validate hypotheses based on market research
- Basic knowledge of web & native mobile software
- Experience working with remote teams
Bonus Points for :
- Bachelor s Degree in related field
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant product management, product owner, or business analysis experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience with Agile development methodologies and Product Owner role
- Knowledge and practical experience with Lean Startup methods and tools
- Enterprise product management experience strongly preferred
- Scrum Product Owner certification a plus
