Press Operator (2nd Shift)

As our new Stamping Press Operator, you will use automatic or semi-automatic machines or machine tools to shape and form metal products or parts. You will learn to apply knowledge from training to reach proficiency in operating and implementing machine processes while maintaining company safety and quality standards.

Core Functions

Press Operation

• Perform stamping operations, set ups, and troubleshooting as required by business needs


• Collaborate with fellow employees, in-house departments, and the Press Room Supervisor to schedule and execute workload


• Maintain high productivity and efficiency standards


• Accomplish company objectives by accepting the challenge to help find unique and innovative solutions to our customer’s requests.


• Be passionate and inquisitive to learn all you can on the job and to gain long term skills and value


• Care for Agritek plant and equipment and respect fellow employees


• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal protocol and safety regulations.

Quality and Administrative Responsibility

• Quality checks


• Perform all documentation and process requirements to comply with ISO:9001 quality standards


• Look for Risk and Opportunities within the department along with Continuous Process Improvements


• Fill out timecard accurately to allocate time to parts or projects

Minimum Job Requirements

• Press Machine experience helpful, but not required


• Ability to measure and use basic shop tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. is helpful


• Mechanical aptitude in how machines function and are cared for


• Ability to read and solve simple math problems


• High School diploma or equivalent


• Reliable transportation


• Clean personal record


• Physically and mentally able to do the job, stamina, and strength for tasks


• Favorable references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour plus shift premium, rate commensurate with experience
