Job Summary:
The Agile Product Owner Advisor will deliver projects in the Individual and Family Plans (IFP) portfolio within the IFP PMO organization. Lead cross-functional, strategic projects that align with leadership's direction to achieve organizational goals, while also efficiently managing process improvement initiatives to support growth coalitions. The Agile Product Owner Advisor will serve as a trusted consultant and collaborate effectively with product managers, product owners, and subject matter experts, and other segment stakeholders within the organization to drive projects to a positive outcome.
Core Responsibilities:
Work within a highly matrixed team, establish complex plans and drive plan execution to completion
Develops detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements
Champions organization's SAFe Agile project management methodology, tools, and techniques
Consults on project planning and management of high-risk, high-impact projects.
Ensures business requirements are well documented and approved by the product owners and business leads.
Build and support a high performance culture within the team, focusing on employee training and development, regular and open communication, individual accountability and recognition.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
5 years of project management work experience required
Previous experience indirectly leading a team in a diverse matrix organization.
Prior Agile and/or Product Owner experience.
Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
Fluent Microsoft Office skills - PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel, etc.
Demonstrated strong relationship building and team integration skills
Must be able to shift comfortably between micro and macro, desk level discussions, and senior leader report-outs
Strong change leadership skills
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to drive results in uncertain and/ or ambiguous environments
Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of projects
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $85,400 - $142,400, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
