Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant and Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to dogs in our daycare and boarding facility. You will ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all pets while promoting their well-being and happiness. This position is perfect for individuals who love animals and have experience in animal care.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and positive interactions.
• Monitor the health and behavior of all dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare and boarding facility, including kennels, play areas, and feeding stations.
• Assist with feeding, administering medications, and providing basic grooming as needed.
• Implement training techniques to promote good behavior among the dogs.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for pets and staff.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
Experience
• Previous experience in animal care or related fields such as veterinary assistance or kennel work is preferred but not required, we do offer outstanding job training.
• Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including animal restraint and dog training methods.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with both dogs and their owners.
This role requires a genuine love for animals, a commitment to their care, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. If you are enthusiastic about providing excellent pet care in a dynamic setting, we encourage you to apply!

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
