Job Description
Are you looking for part or full-time seasonal tax preparation work? Hawkins Ash CPAs has a fantastic and flexible opportunity to join our team as a seasonal tax preparer. This position will be responsible for preparing and/or reviewing tax returns.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of federal and state income tax laws and regulations and experience preparing tax returns is required. Training on our software and processes is provided.
Seasonal tax preparers typically work from the beginning of February through April 15th. Training and tax law updates are offered around the end of January. The hours are flexible and this position could work between 20-40 hours/ week depending on availability. Seasonal preparers may return each year depending on Hawkins Ash’s needs and the preparer's availability.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Four year degree in accounting or related field preferred, but not required
- Experience with individual (form 1040) tax preparation, but not required
