JOB SUMMARY
• The Senior Human Resource Manager contributes to the success of the SNA by providing guidance to all plant Human Resources staff to ensure consistency of policy and procedures and to level up all members utilizing the succession planning systems while supporting kaizen activities to improve and document HR activities and tracking and reporting HR KPIs from the plants.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / DUTIES:
• Develop and implement department Hoshin goals for self while supporting plant HR staff in developing the plant HR Hoshins.
• Assist the General Manager with developing and planning the overall HR Budget and guide HR Plant staff through their budgets for each plant.
• Assist in developing, revising, and auditing company management systems (IATF, JSOX, ISO, Aisin Compliance Audits).
• Track appropriate plantside KPI, recognize trends, recommend actions, and report out while following up through PFS procedures.
• Recommend, support and/or coordinate team member promotions through performance evaluations, paperwork creation/issuance and other succession planning systems.
• Assist with the creation, revision and communication of company policies and procedures as needed.
• Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of salaried team members to fill open positions in the organization – both Corporate and in the plants.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly communication meetings to inform team members of company results and other pertinent information.
• Assist Corporate and plants in planning and coordinating company appreciation events including meals, snacks, prizes, games and other events.
• Receive, process, and facilitate responses and solutions to Executive Box comments and periodic morale meetings.
• Assist in coordinating training for the plants to enhance skills sets and knowledge throughout the organization.
• Travel to all plants and support local HR staff with questions, concerns and other serious or complex issues as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years in a related Human Resources position in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, HRIS/Payroll systems and any other applicable database programs.
• Knowledge and understanding of Company policies/procedures and benefit programs.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability a must.
• Able to effectively communicate in potentially stressful situations with both technical and administrative personnel.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of state and federal regulations and requirements.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
