Position Summary:
The Server/Driver plays a key role in ensuring timely and professional delivery, set-up, and breakdown of catered events. This role includes loading and transporting food, beverages, and equipment, as well as providing service support during events when needed. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is punctual, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Transportation:
• Follow all scheduled timing: call time, departure, delivery, and pick-up to ensure punctual service.
• Safely load, transport, and unload food, beverages, and catering equipment to and from event sites.
• Conduct pre-departure check-out with Culinary and Operations teams to verify all items are packed and accounted for.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards in company vehicles before and after use.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while operating company vehicles.
• Report any mechanical issues or irregularities with company vehicles immediately to Operations.
Event Communication & Coordination:
• Contact the event POC (Point of Contact), Operations Manager, and/or Sales Manager regarding any changes in schedule, directions, delays, or early arrivals.
• Confirm parking and unloading areas to avoid traffic or parking violations.
• Never leave a company vehicle unattended with keys in the ignition.
On-Site Service & Setup:
• Greet the event POC with a positive and professional attitude upon arrival.
• Review the event setup and load-in areas with the POC before beginning unload.
• Neatly and efficiently set up and/or break down buffets, food stations, and equipment as required by the event.
• Take clear and comprehensive photos of all set-up areas, food items, and beverages for internal records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event space.
Post-Event Duties:
• If remaining on-site, support event flow including food replenishment, bussing, and guest support as needed.
• Check out with the on-site POC and confirm any final needs before departure.
• Return unused food and beverages to the kitchen, ensuring proper storage and refrigeration.
• Unload and return dirty equipment to the dishwashing area (when within operating hours).
• Complete the Driver Report in the Event Binder and upload photos to Operations.
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate location (warehouse or designated after-hours drop box).
Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, or delivery preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
