Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Soliant Education has partnered with a school district in the Lafayette, Louisiana area to hire anEarly Interventionist for the current school year. Fulltime applicants are preferred however, those with part-time availability will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized and group instruction to children with developmental delays in the areas of pre-academics, sensory integration, self-help skills, and social development. Develop and implement specialized education plans that support the unique needs of each child. Write and maintain annual and initial Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other specialists to support childrens development and educational progress. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss student progress, strategies, and goals. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the emotional, social, and educational development of each child. Qualifications: MILD/MOD Certification required Experience working with young children, particularly in early childhood special education (Birth to 3 years old). Knowledge of developmental delays and early childhood interventions. Strong ability to write and implement IEPs and assess student progress. Ability to work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Compensation and Benefits: W2 contracted position for the 2024-2025school year with potential for contract renewal Flexibility in scheduling (will consider part-time, hybrid remote, etc.).
