A Blood Bank Technologist position is immediately available to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. The duties entail delivering exceptional customer service, conducting proficient specimen collections, and being the company's representative. Moreover, opportunities for continuous development within the organization are possible.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $31.45 per Hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use venipuncture and capillary methods to draw blood from people from infancy to adulthood
  • Secure samples for drug screening, paternity confirmation, or alcohol evaluations, among other inspections.
  • Make sure to accurately and timely enter all patient details into the system
  • Efficiently obtaining billing information and collecting payments is a crucial part of our daily tasks
  • Follow the standard protocols for preparing and analyzing samples to get accurate results
  • Record all relevant patient and specimen details in logs
  • Go out of your way to make every patient feel valued and appreciated
  • The individual should be able to perform different administrative and clerical duties as and when required
  • Touring supplementary destinations when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • In order to be eligible, one must have a Phlebotomy License issued for California or an application submitted with the California Department of Health
  • Knowledge of blood collection procedures as a previous phlebotomist
  • Proven ability to consistently provide unparalleled service and support to customers
  • Outstanding ability to tailor messages according to the specific audience and context
  • The ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team is a valuable asset for career advancement in many industries
  • Able to perform duties with limited assistance from superiors
  • If relevant, the applicant must have a reliable method of transportation and a clear driving record
  • Showing a willingness to put in extra time if needed
  • Efficient in obtaining a satisfactory outcome on a standardized color perception test
