Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of vacation rental properties to provide our guests and owners with safe and enjoyable vacation environments. Salary is DOE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from tenants and/or guests promptly
• Perform routine inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues
• Complete general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Maintain grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and trash management
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including painting, cleaning, and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory using Streamline Property Management software
• Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized services are required
• Be available for emergency maintenance calls on a rotating basis
Qualifications/Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Basic computer skills required for documentation and communication
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
