OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION 

The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the store team in close partnership with the General Manager to ensure that the Alo Brand mission is brought to life through the retail experience. The Assistant Manager ensures all standards, of both service and operations, are achieved to excellence. The primary responsibility is to serve as a leader to the team, motivating, inspiring, coaching and developing the team to lead extraordinary results and build community.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities 

 

  • Assist in key aspects of store operations and in ensuring the Alo Brand Mission is brought to life and introduced to everyone in our community  
  • Leads by example and inspires staff in daily operations and guest experience 
  • Passionately leads and inspires on the retail floor; present on the retail floor 75% of their work week 
  • Educates guests and staff on our product, community and culture 
  • Represents his/her store at meetings or on conference calls, in the absence of or as the direction from the General Manager  
  • Serves as a coach to Guest Service Associates and Keyholders and plays an integral part in their development  
  • Partners on the store schedule and business strategy in order to optimize store performance.
  • Assists with recruitment and development of the Alo store team
  • Oversees the execution of certain deliverables on the Alo Sales and Service Model 
  • Oversees BOH processes and ensures that these processes support the business needs 
  • Supports with store VM and ensuring that store standards are reflective of the company directive
  • Support with additional projects, perform duties and assignments as required or requested by the General Manager
