Job Summary of Technology & Cybersecurity Audit Staff:
The Technology and Cybersecurity Audit Staff will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and security of UPS’s global technology infrastructure. This position involves evaluating and auditing various technology and information security controls, from cloud environments to on-premise systems, ensuring compliance and identifying potential risks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing control designs and operating effectiveness, and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders. This role offers an opportunity to work with a team of experts in a collaborative, high-energy environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Technology & Cybersecurity Audit Staff:
- Perform audits on both cloud and on-premise systems, reviewing security measures including vulnerability management, encryption, and application security controls.
- Conduct risk-based auditing and execute tests on IT application controls and general IT controls to support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Assess the design and operational effectiveness of technology and cybersecurity controls with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify key security risks, test controls, and analyze data to validate control effectiveness.
- Document findings, issues, and recommendations using web-based tools, and effectively communicate results to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging cybersecurity threats to continuously improve audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience of Technology & Cybersecurity Audit Staff:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity auditing or a related field, with a focus on IT controls, risk management, and security compliance.
- Hands-on experience with auditing in cloud and on-premise environments, understanding of various security protocols and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in using web-based audit tools and documenting findings accurately.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex data.
- Preferred certifications include CISA, CISSP, or similar industry-recognized qualifications.

Salary:
The base salary for this position ranges from $70,560 to $130,800 per year, depending on experience, qualification. Additional incentives, such as aual performance bonuses and long-term incentives, may apply.
