• The accurate processing of orders and deliveries and the validation of loading tickets are critical steps in ensuring that customers receive their merchandise promptly and as expected.

Responsibilities:

The role of a Flooring and Cabinets Sales Consultant at Lowe's is crucial to the success of the brand. They assist customers in making informed decisions by providing them with access to accurate pricing information and product details and ensuring that their needs are met.

The Flooring and Cabinets Sales Consultant tasks differ from department to department. The areas in which Customer Service Associates are employed include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls. The unit in which a Customer Service Associate is hired is based on their abilities and staffing requirements.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is not a common aspect of this position, although there may be occasional circumstances in which travel is necessary, such as attending meetings, trainings, or providing assistance to other stores.

• Contractual Time Allotments: Pick Full Time or Part Time based on hourly schedules. Full Time generally involves 39 to 40 weekly hours, whereas Part Time commonly equates to up to 25 scheduled hours per week, although extra hours might be necessitated.
• Availability is needed for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, any day of the week, for this position.
• Ability to carry out job functions that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities that are essential to the task at hand.
• At select stores, CSAs who work in the Greeter departments are required to be able to lift 10 pounds without help and may need assistance to lift loads exceeding 10 pounds.
• When it comes to all departments apart from Greeter departments, CSAs must meet a minimum standard of being able to lift 25 pounds without assistance. If more weight needs to be lifted, individuals may choose to use support or lift independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• For a duration of six months, the individual has acquired proficiency in computer skills, which includes inputting, retrieving, editing, or showcasing data.
• During a six-month stint in retail, developed a familiarity with commonly used technological devices such as smartphones and tablets.
• Obtaining licensure or registration as mandated by law for sales position is a crucial requirement that the candidate should fulfill.

Preferred Qualifications:

• I have spent a significant amount of my time over the past 6 months developing my sales skills, with a focus on identifying and meeting customer needs. This has involved recommending various products, including credit cards, installations, and add-ons, and explaining their features and benefits in a way that's informative and persuasive.
• Having worked in retail for a span of six months, I have acquired the necessary skills in providing stellar customer service, which includes troubleshooting problems, guiding customers to their desired items, welcoming them with a smile, attending to phone calls, building rapport, and showing gratitude for their loyalty.
• Those who can communicate effectively in more than one language are considered an asset for the store depending on the job requirements.
• Earning certification in hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, or lumber/building materials is an impressive accomplishment that can set you apart from other professionals.
