The QTI Group has partnered with a real estate development company in seeking two full-time, direct hire Accounting Assistants to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic real estate development team and grow within a supportive work environment. If you are passionate about accounting and looking for a stable, long-term role, we encourage you to apply!The position will operate Monday-Friday in office 8:30am-5:00pm. The pay is $22/hr.+ based on experience.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and receivable, perform bookkeeping tasks, and assist with administrative duties as assigned.Enter vendor invoices, ensuring coding consistency and accuracy.Manage employee credit card statements, recording transactions in the appropriate accounting system.Deposit and record rent payments, investor funds, and vendor checks in a timely manner.Maintain accurate investor notes and equity entries, tracking payments and account changes.Calculate and process quarterly payments and note payoffs.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and delinquencies efficiently.Maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.QualificationsAssociate degree in Accounting or one year of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience preferred.1+ years of accounting experience required.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software quickly.Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.Experience with QuickBooks or AppFolio is a plus.
