Job Title
Principal Social Work Officer
City: Edinburgh
Salary Range: £74,858 - £89,566 per annum
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Achieve High-Quality Social Work Practice:
As a Principal Social Work Officer with the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, you will be at the forefront of improving senior oversight of social work practice.
Influence Senior Leadership:
You will influence the organisation at a senior level, ensuring that the unique role of social work is understood and valued within the Partnership and with partner organisations.
Lead the Social Work Profession:
You will champion and lead the social work profession within the Partnership, working closely with the Chief Social Work Officer in the Council and through key strategic and operational relationships.
Risk and Compliance:
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
