Since our founding in 2010, we have opened 25 locations throughout the United States and continue to rapidly expand our footprint throughout the country.The Commercial Service / Sales Associate is the main contact for sales and service in a thriving Commercial Tire Dealership. The Commercial Sales Associate oversees sales for area fleets as well as promoting new tires, retreads, and tire services. Daily solicitation of existing store accounts, as well as calling on prospective new accounts are essential to building a profitable book of business.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS· HS diploma or equivalent· Valid Driver’s license in good standing· Previous Sales Experience· Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a team· Good oral and written communication ability· Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history, etc.· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug testPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:· Previous Commercial Tire Sales and/or Commercial Tire Service Experience· 5+ years’ experience in the tire industry· Retread tire knowledge· Current TIA CertificationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS· Must be able to lift 100 lbs.· Must be able to push/pull, up to 150 lbs.· Travel: 75% within Regional AreaESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Solicit commercial truck tire accounts in designated areas· Responsible for the sale of new truck tires, retreads, and services· Maintain current accounts with regular sales calls and follow up to accounts as well as all tire service required to keep a fleet running.· Learn and work through the existing business operating system for billing of above· sales channels· Maintain an acceptable profit margin· Actively seeking new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.· Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.· Meeting established sales and service gross profit goals.· Evaluating customer needs and making recommendations· Deliver, Service and/or retrieve tires for customers.· Preparing weekly sales plans and completing all call reports following establishedcompany procedures.· Mount/Dismount/Install any type of off-the-road tires & tire/wheel assemblies which may include multi-piece rims.Load/Unload tires on and off trucksRepair TiresFollow established procedures to inspect tires, and wheels before and after service.Determine repairable tire conditions and make such repairs.Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.Document work performed accurately and according to company policy.Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools including boom cranes, cribbing, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment.Unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to equipment, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.Mount and dismount any type of off-the-road tire including but not limited to multi-piece rims.Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis.Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board service equipment and tools.· Comply with all local, state, and federal laws which includes OSHA and MSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Commission payAbility to commute/relocate:Bolingbrook, IL 60440: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Commercial Tire: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location: One location
