Pet Care Specialist/ Dog Walker

Looking for an amazing opportunity to spend time with pets? Housebound Hounds is looking for motivated, reliable, positive people in the NorthWest Omaha and Elkhorn area. Candidate must live in west Omaha and be within a 10-15 minute commute of 144 to 220 streets North of Dodge to State in Omaha.

Our Pet Care Specialists are responsible for providing loving animal care and dog walking. Services provided to all types of pets. Routine duties include feeding, medication delivery, putting out fresh water, Walking dogs, puppy play, basic training, and cleaning litter boxes.

We provide the supplies, training, support and the latest technology so you can enjoy your time during each pet interaction, making sure our clients receive the best possible care.

• Hours are Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. Pet sit visits required some weekends, after hours (evenings, early mornings), Holidays and overnights (6pm-6am) are required
• Must Be Able to Work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays Each Week Minimum from 10am-3pm & Commit To At Least 1 Year once hired
• Have A Smartphone with Unlimited data & A Reliable Insured Vehicle
• Must live in West Omaha/Bennington/Elkhorn area
• Have A Passion For Dogs Is Required, Experience Walking All Temperaments Is Required
• Physically Capable Walking In All Kinds Of Weather (snow, cold, heat, rain, etc) And Up To 6 Miles A Day
